Their wedding dance was Frankie Valli - “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”
It pretty much summed up how they were on their wedding day.
Tanielle & Alberto are so crazy in love you just can’t help but love them for it.
They opted for a “first look” so they met in the foyer of the hotel. Alberto was so emotional when he saw his soon-to-be-wife. He couldn’t stop looking at her and saying “WOW.”
He then surprised her with a gift. He’d commissioned an artist in Sydney to create a drawing of them and it was Tanielle’s turn to get emotional.
We caught a boat into Birrarung Marr for photos and we had Alberto’s father (Jesus) and brother (Miguel) join us to soak in the sights of the city while they were visiting from Spain. It was such a lovely time!
Their wedding day was one of those perfect September Saturdays… blue skies, birds chirping and a bazillion people walking to get to the finals at the MCG. The exact same time we were doing their photos!
Following photos, the ceremony and reception were held at Byblos Bar in the World Trade Centre precinct. Turns out the football theme ran a little deeper with a big screen being set up right out the front of their venue and Tanielle’s aisle walk led her though bright beanbags and AFL clad fans. It was surprisingly perfect for such a fun loving couple!
The day was capped off with the best father of the groom speech ever. Jesus has very minimal English yet he (and Miguel) wrote the perfect speech. Jesus even recited it with an English accent and Miguel was whispering it from the crowd. It was beyond perfect.
My favourite part was when he said to Tanielle…
“Today more than ever you are the girl with the eternal smile.”
And she was.
Tanielle & Alberto… you two are so fabulous! I loved being with you on your wedding day and I can’t wait to see you again very soon.
