One of my bucket list items is to be in a flash mob.
I mean, who doesn’t want to be in one?
And if you don’t, you’re lying.
At the reception of Rose & Tom’s wedding, I had a little hint there may have been one happening so the anticipation levels were high (part of me wanted to ask if I could quickly learn the moves and join in, but instead I refrained myself and photographed it).
You see, Rose & Tom love Michael Jackson. Their wedding dance was to 'The Way You Make Me Feel' and so, after warming up with a few glasses of courage, a number of their friends performed a well-rehearsed version of the Thriller dance.
It was an absolute hit.
Set at Glen Erin Retreat in the Macedon Ranges, Rose & Tom’s wedding was all about having fun.
They were both so relaxed about the day that Tom even had to ask me what time the ceremony was! Their guests stayed on site so between the ceremony and reception some swam in the pool, others played bocce. Brilliant!
I knew a lot of people at this wedding but even if I didn’t it would have been awesome.
Rose & Tom have built the best foundation for a great life together with lovely families and the greatest (and I mean the greatest!) group of friends.
Rose & Tom… you guys are just the best! Thanks for choosing me and for choosing the nicest bridal party. As you could probably tell by how late I stayed, I kind of enjoyed myself!
