Oh where to start…
Sarah & Leigh are work colleagues of my husband and when they got engaged, they called to ask me to be their photographer.
“There’s only one thing.” Sarah said
“It’s in Noosa. Is that ok?”
Noosa holds a special place in Sarah’s heart. It’s played host to family holidays for years and well before she was born, while her parents were on their honeymoon, her Dad lost his wedding ring in the sand at a garden on the Noosa foreshore. It was in that same garden Sarah & Leigh chose to be married.
Their wedding day was all kinds of awesome.
The location, the weather, shooting the boys during their pre-ceremony swim, the thrill of the flowers arriving at the girl’s hill-top apartment, the dress, Sarah’s excitement when Leigh finally slid the wedding ring on her finger, our attempts at getting a bush turkey in a photo and mostly, some of the loveliest friends and family I’ve had the pleasure of photographing.
Sarah & Leigh… you guys, your day and your beautiful guests couldn’t have been any better.
We felt so welcomed by you all and you have no idea how much that meant to us. We just loved seeing everyone while we were wandering the streets of Noosa in the lead up and following your wedding, and no one failed to stop and chat to us, which we really valued. I’m so glad you chose us to photograph your wedding and I hope your photos bring the memories flooding back.
Can we do it all again, pretty please?!
* Huge shout out to my most favourite person in the world for second shooting with me on the day…. my husband, Chris. He’s one in a million.
